This turkey chili combines ground turkey with spicy tomatoes, corn, beans, and salsa. Have lots of sour cream ready to cool it off.

  • Servings: 12

1 tsp Olive Oil
1 Small Onion, finely chopped
1 lb Ground Turkey
1 can (14-oz.) Beef Broth
3 Tbsp Chili Powder
2 Tbsp Ground Cumin
2 tsp Garlic Powder
1 can (10-oz.) Diced Tomatoes With Jalapeno Peppers
1 can (14-oz.) Whole Kernel Corn, drained
1 can (14 1/2-oz.) Diced Tomatoes
1 can (15-oz.) Black Beans, rinsed and drained
1 cup Salsa
Salt & Ground Black Pepper, to taste
Shredded Cheddar Cheese, optional
Chopped Green Onion, optional

Heat oil in skillet over medium heat. Saute onion and add turkey. Cook turkey until brown. Add beef broth and seasonings. Then add undrained tomatoes with peppers, corn, undrained diced tomatoes, black beans and salsa. Bring to boiling, stirring constantly. Lower to a simmer; simmer covered for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. When serving turkey chili, top with shredded cheese and green onions, if desired.
