Three Bean Chili


This is some serious chili that is full of beans, beef and veggies. You control how hot you want it and decide what toppings you want to add.



Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 15 ounce can pinto beans
  • 1 15 ounce can black beans
  • 1 15 ounce can kidney beans
  • 1 15 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 1 medium size onion, diced and precooked
  • 2 cloves garlic, diced and precooked with onion
  • 4 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 green bell pepper, precooked with onion and garlic
  • 2 tablespoons seasoning salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 15 ounce diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 2 cups of cheddar cheese (grated)
  • 4 cups of sour cream

Method

Fry ground beef until done and drain grease. Pour all beans into a large cooking pot; add the cooked onion, garlic, green bell pepper and the ground beef. Add tomato sauce, other sauces and diced tomatoes. Next add the seasoning salt and pepper. Last, add the chili powder and heat on medium heat. After it is hot, put on low heat and let it simmer with a lid on. Serve in bowls, sprinkle with cheddar cheese, and add a drop of sour cream on top in the middle.
