Sandies Italian Sausage Soup

Homemade soup doesn't get any easier than this-just combine all the ingredients in a crockpot or pan, and simmer until done.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground chuck, brown and drain
- 1 lb ground Italian sausage, brown and drain
- 1 small head chopped cabbage
- 6 stalks chopped celery
- 3 (14 ounce) cans diced tomatoes w/chilies
- 1 (32 ounce) box of beef broth
- 1 (14 ounce) can beef consomme
- 1 (14 ounce) can of water
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp garlic juice
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp The Chefs Miracle Blend, or McCormick's Montreal steak seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 4 Tbsp sugar
- 1 can drained mushrooms, optional

Method
Place all ingredients together in a crock pot or large soup pot. Stir well and simmer for 1 to 2 hours on low, or if in crock pot cook on low for 6 hours or more.
Notes: You can make this in the morning, go shopping, read a book, work, or whatever you would like to do and dinner will be ready when you are.
