Quick Turkey Chili

Ground turkey is cooked with onion, green pepper, stewed tomatoes, kidney and black beans. This chili is generously seasoned with chili powder and cinnamon.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 1/2 tsp olive oil
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 10 oz. cans kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 3 10 oz. cans black beans, drained and rinsed
- 4 10 oz. cans stewed tomatoes (with Mexican spices, preferred)
- 2 Tbsp tomato paste
- 4 Tbsp chili powder
- 2 Tbsp ground cinnamon
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Grated Monteray Jack or cheddar cheese

Method
In 2-quart saucepan, saute olive oil and ground turkey, onion and green pepper on medium-high heat until cooked through. Add stewed tomatoes, tomato paste, kidney and black beans. Next, add chili powder, cinnamon, salt and pepper. Bring to boil, then turn down heat to simmer for 15 minutes. Ladle into bowls and top with grated Monterey jack or cheddar cheese
