|8 oz||Canned Pumpkin Puree|
|8 oz||Canned Split Pea Soup|
|6 oz||(3/4 Cup) Whole Milk|
|6 oz||(3/4 Cup) Half-and-half or Light Cream|
|1 lb||Small To Medium Shrimp, cooked and cleaned|
|½ lb||Cooked or Canned Crabmeat|
|¼ cup||Dry Sherry|
|Sea Salt & Freshly Ground Pepper, to taste|
Combine and heat pumpkin, pea soup, milk, and half-and-half in a large pot. Add shrimp and crabmeat; heat for a few more minutes. Just before serving, stir in sherry, nutmeg, salt and pepper.
Do not allow the bisque to boil at any point. Makes a delightful appetizer to a holiday meal.
