This is easily one of the quickest recipes for gumbo to ever be seen, try it and see.
Mix all ingredients together and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
Notes:
I have sometimes added diced chicken breast, sausage, or shrimp sauteed with Cajun seasoning, but it isn't really necessary. And this stuff is even better the 2nd day. It is a bit spicy, but it really hits the spot on a cold day. So easy and so good.
