Make this cheese and potato soup for dinner tonight - it has loads of classic ingredients for a recipe that never goes out of season.
Boil the potatoes until tender, drain return to pot. Meanwhile, saute bacon, onions and garlic until bacon is crisp and onions are golden. Add to potatoes. Stir in soup and milk and remaining ingredients. Allow to simmer stirring occasionally until hot and cheese is melted. Serve hot.
Notes:
Serve with warm bread or french fried onions. not only is this recipe chunky but it is nice and creamy too!
