Chili Beans

This beefy chili is thick and full of beans. Serve over corn bread.
Ingredients
- 3 lbs ground beef
- 5 14 1/2-oz. cans diced tomatoes with onions and peppers
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 5 medium potatoes, cubed
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 8-ounce bottle chili sauce
- 3 15- to 16-ounce cans red kidney beans
- Salt, as desired

Method
Brown ground beef in a large pot, crumbling in very small pieces. Do not drain. Add the undrained tomatoes, chili powder, potatoes, onion, and undrained beans--cook until potatoes are soft. Stir in chili sauce and cook and stir for another 10 minutes. Stir often while cooking to prevent sticking. Season to taste.
Notes: Serve with cornbread.
