Just mix stew beef, tomatoes, and vegetables and burgundy if you wish and let cook for 5 hours in the oven.
Mix all ingredients and put in a small roaster pan. For a more robust flavor, add l C. of burgundy. Cover and bake at 250F for 5 hours; or cook in large crock pot for 8-10 hours on high.
Notes:
This is a delicious, hardy main course that may be prepared in 20 minutes. Fix it in a crock pot overnight while you sleep and have a nutritious, delicious meal ready to go for the days you don't have time to cook. This recipe is a favorite at my house where meat and potatoes are king.
